Terri Perrin ~ Virtual Volunteer Centre Manager

Terri Perrin has spent her career engaged in the non-profit sector as both a volunteer and a volunteer manager. Since moving to the Comox Valley from Calgary in 2009, she has been active in a number of organizations, volunteering and serving on various boards of directors. She spent four years as a volunteer manager with Habitat for Humanity Vancouver Island North and, in March 2019, she joined LUSH Valley Food Action Society as their Communications and Program Manager.  Terri brings a wealth of marketing and communications, volunteer management, and community spirit to The Comox Valley Volunteer Connector and is, in her own words, a ‘volunteer-aholic!’

Terri is also on the Board of Directors for the CV Women’s Business Network and is a member of Volunteer Management Professionals of Canada and the Professional Writers’ Association of Canada.

Mary Catherine Williams ~ Executive Director, Volunteer Campbell River

Mary Catherine has over thirty years of experience working with children, families, and communities to promote well-being, safety, and success. Her career spans working in child care centres in the Downtown Eastside, instructing ECE programs, operating child care facilities, owning a small business, supporting families raising children with a variety of developmental disabilities and challenges, and providing training to families and community professionals.  During the past 18 years, Mary Catherine has collaborated in community development initiatives in Campbell River with a focus on mental health and addictions prevention and supports, Reconciliation and community resilience. Volunteering has been a cornerstone for Mary Catherine throughout her life. She brings a range of volunteer experiences spanning social services, sports, education and government with roles on non-profit boards, provincial advisories, as a sport official, in fundraising and providing board development training.

Tiesha Schmuland ~ Volunteer and Community Engagement Coordinator,  Volunteer Campbell River   

Tiesha brings a wonderful combination of expertise, education, and experiences which are very well suited to this work. In her previous roles, Tiesha has worked with children, families, and communities in special education, children’s ministry, and childcare, as well as providing adult education and supporting a large number of volunteers. Tiesha brings her passion and joyfulness to Volunteer CR and is looking forward to connecting with volunteers, agencies and the community.
